The project involved enabling various in-house applications for Direct Delivery Purchase Order functionality. This project involved conversion of GAP EU Inventory data from North America RMS (Retek Merchandising System) to Europe RMS.

The project scope involves developing new 35+ interfaces to interface GAP EU data from Legacy based applications (Item Creation/Purchase Order Creation/ Purchase Order Tracking/Allocation/Pricing Applications) to Europe RMS. It also involves creating one time conversion components to migrate foundation and transactional data from North America RMS to Europe RMS. The integration scope also involves decoupling existing interfaces between Legacy Mainframe based systems and North America RMS to filter out GAP EU data. The project used IBM WebSphere DataStage/Message Broker/MQ in delivering the final solution for this integration.

The integration project scope involved developing high volume data integration solution using IBM InfoSphere DataStage to integrate Retek RMS, Legacy and Whitespace applications with i2. The solution also leveraged the ESB layer services for logging, error handling and routing.

      Over 120+ DataStage interfaces developed that integrated Legacy Mainframe applications with I2 Planning and Allocation system and enterprise Data Warehouse.  The interfaces processed 900 million records a day with stringent SLA to support business continuity.

      30+ common DataStage modules, tools, methodologies, estimation models, best practices developed under the DataStage integration factory model.

The project involved the analysis, design of architecture, high level and detail level design of interfaces to integrate various applications with DOMS. Outmost importance was given to make the integration of external applications with DOMS secure using Secure Socket Layer. TIBCO Business Works/EMS based solution was created for Application Integration and TIBCO Business Connect was used to create B2B integrations.
